A quarantine area notice relating to the declared pest Bactrocera (Bactrocera) tryoni (Queensland fruit fly) was published in the Gazette on 17 March 2023, in the West Australian newspaper on 18 March 2023 and on the website of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD). The QAN is amended by deleting in clause 1 “until 14 September 2023” and substituting “until 11:59 PM on 27 October 2023”. The amended QAN is available on DPIRD’s website.
