Made by the chief psychiatrist under section 525(e) of the mental health act 2014; attempted suicide— • any incident involving deliberate self‐inflicted bodily injury with the intention of ending the person’s life, including self-poisoning, a drug overdose, hanging, but not including— o suicidal ideation which the person has not acted upon; o an incident which is considered a near miss where the incident may have, but did not, cause harm, either by chance or through timely intervention.
