Under the powers conferred by the Local Government Act 1995, the council of the Shire of Merredin resolved on 29 April 2025 to make the following local law. This local law is cited as the Shire of Merredin Dogs Amendment Local Law 2025. This local law comes into operation 14 days after its publication in the Government Gazette. Clauses 5.1 and 5.2 of the Shire of Merredin Dogs Local Law 2002 published in the Government Gazette on 7 October 2002 are deleted.
