Under regulation 60 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Regulations 2013, the area within the 17 Local Government Authority boundaries is declared to constitute a quarantine area for a period of 6 months following the date of publication due to the presence of Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer. Restrictions apply to the movement of wood and living plants from the quarantine area.
