These regulations are the working with children (criminal record checking) amendment regulations 2017. Regulations 1 and 2 commence on the day of gazettal, and the rest commence the day after. These regulations amend the working with children (criminal record checking) regulations 2005. Schedule 2 is amended to include s. 474.25c regarding using a carriage service to prepare or plan to cause harm to, engage in sexual activity with, or procure for sexual activity, persons under 16.
