David Robert Michael MLA, Minister for Mines and Petroleum, revokes previous delegations and delegates functions under the Offshore Minerals Act 2003 (WA), regulations, and the Offshore Minerals (Registration Fees) Act 2003 (WA) to specified positions within the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety. The Minister retains the right to exercise the delegated functions, and the delegates cannot further delegate these functions.

The Minister for Mines and Petroleum intends to forfeit mining tenements for non-payment of rent unless outstanding amounts are paid by August 7, 2026.
Extends the exemption of specified land from certain divisions of the Mining Act 1978 for two years, expiring on 4 May 2028.
Cancels a land exemption originally declared on 16 March 1987, making the land subject to Divisions 1 to 5 of Part IV of the Mining Act 1978.
