These regulations amend the Road Traffic Code 2000. Amendments include changes to the definitions of taxi, omnibus, and related provisions, replacing them with references to passenger transport vehicles and on-demand rank or hail vehicle authorisations as defined in the Transport (Road Passenger Services) Act 2018.
