In accordance with regulation 60 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Regulations 2013, a quarantine area notice entitled: quarantine area notice—perth metropolitan boundaries—polyphagous shot-hole borer was published in the government gazette on 11 november 2022. Under regulation 71 of the regulations, the qan is subject to the general exemption set out in this notice. Wood and living plants as described in schedule 1 of the qan, may be moved from a place within the quarantine area to a place outside the quarantine area under certain conditions.
