In accordance with regulation 60 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Regulations 2013, a Quarantine Area Notice (QAN) entitled: Quarantine Area Notice—Perth Metropolitan Boundaries—Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer (Euwallacea fornicatus, PSHB) was published in the Government Gazette on 21 March 2023. Under regulation 71, the QAN is subject to the general exemption set out in this Notice. Wood and living plants may be moved from within to outside the quarantine area under certain conditions.
