Under the powers conferred by the Local Government Act 1995, the Bush Fires Act 1954 and by all other powers, the Shire of Exmouth resolved on 24 September 2020 to make the following local law. This local law may be cited as the Shire of Exmouth Bushfire Brigade Amendment Local Law 2020. This local law comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.

Determines that the Shire of Exmouth will use gross rental value as the basis for rates on specified land.
Enacts the Shire of Exmouth Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2020 to govern bush fire brigade activities.
Implements Shire of Exmouth Local Planning Scheme No. 4 and revokes Town Planning Scheme No. 3.
Enacts the Shire of Exmouth Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2018, repealing the 2012 version.
