The shire of Boddington has issued a fire access track order for 2019/20. Fire access tracks must be installed by 15 November 2019 and maintained until 26 April 2020. Failure to comply is an offence under Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act, with a maximum penalty of $15,000. The order details requirements for rural lands, pine and eucalyptus plantations, private bush holdings, and small lot holders.
