These regulations are the criminal investigation amendment regulations 2021. Regulations 1 and 2 commence on the day of gazettal, and the rest on the day after. These regulations amend the criminal investigation regulations 2007. Regulation 8 is replaced, prescribing authorised persons for section 120, including assessors as defined in the criminal injuries compensation act 2003 section 3, and members of the police force of another state or territory.
