I, Nathan Harrison, Executive Director of Fisheries and Agriculture Resource Management of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as delegate of the Chief Executive Officer, pursuant to clause 14(3) of the Pilbara Trap Managed Fishery Management Plan 1992, having taken into account advice from the Director Aquatic Science and Assessment and consulted with Pilbara Trap Managed Fishery licence holders, consider it appropriate to do so and do hereby determine that the capacity of the Pilbara Trap Managed Fishery shall be limited to 4,637.6 trap days for the period commencing 1 January 2024 and ending 31 December 2024. Pursuant to clause 14(5)(c) of the Pilbara Trap Managed Fishery Management Plan 1992, this determination revokes the previous determination made on 30 November 2023 for the 2024 licensing period.
