The Shire of Leonora under the powers conferred by the Planning and Development Act 2005 makes the following Local Planning Scheme. This local planning scheme is the Shire of Leonora Scheme No. 2. Under section 87(4) of the Act, this local planning scheme comes into operation on the day on which it is published in the Gazette.

Determines that the Shire of Leonora will use unimproved value of land as the basis for rates.
Council intends to apply to the Minister for Local Government to revest land in the Crown.
Determines the gross rental value as the basis for rates on a mining tenement within the Shire of Leonora, excluding section 6.29(2) of the Local Government Act 1995.
