The following persons have been appointed as the fire weather officers for the Shire of Merredin in accordance with the Bush Fires Act 1954— Chris Barnett—North East, Neil Edgecombe—South East, Neil Smith—North, Chris Hooper—South West, Stephen Crook—Central, Paul Wanless—South, Cam Gethin—West. All previous appointments of fire weather officer for the Shire of Merredin are hereby cancelled.
