The Minister for Planning has approved, as advertised, the abovementioned amendment to the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS). The amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) Plan Number 3.2819 and is effective on and from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette. The purpose of the amendment is to transfer approximately 5,945m2 in Swanbourne from the Parks and Recreation reservation to the Public Purposes—Special Uses reservation in the MRS. By virtue of section 126(1) of the Planning and Development Act 2005, the City of Nedlands Local Planning Scheme No. 3 is amended to give effect to the reservation(s) included in MRS Amendment 1415.
