The council of the Shire of Collie resolved on 20 June 2017 to make the following local law under the powers conferred by the Bush Fires Act 1954 and Local Government Act 1995. This local law may be cited as the Shire of Collie Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2017. The Shire of Collie Local Law No. 7—Bush Fire Brigades as published in the Government Gazette on 16 August 2000 is repealed. This local law applies throughout the district.
