In accordance with Section 45 (1) (b) of the Racing and Wagering Western Australia Act 2003, notice is hereby given that the Board of Racing and Wagering WA on 2 January 2018 resolved that the RWWA Rules of Harness Racing 2004 be amended as follows effective 1 February 2018— amendment to national rules amend rule 103b, 149(4), 152(2), 162(1)(l), 162(1)(www), 163(1)(c), 163(5), 170(1), 188a(2)(k), 190b(1)(b)(ii), 194, 196b(2)(b), 220 add rule 152(3), 156(4)(h), 196c, 297 (9) delete/repeal 254a (1), (2), (3) renumber 152 (3) to 152 (4), 152 (4) to 152 (5), 152 (5) to 152 (6), 297 (9) to 297 (10) amendment to local rules add rule lr90a—training partnerships lr 194a—possession of substances lr220—leading a horse lr26a—children’s access to stabling areas on-course amendment to regulations delete regulation 90.1 a copy of the above rules may be obtained during office hours from the rwwa offices at 14 hasler road, osborne park 6017, wa or racing and wagering western australia website, www.rwwa.com.au.
