It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the City of Perth City Planning Scheme amendment on 28 January 2022 for the purpose of amending the scheme map to introduce ‘scheme area’ over various lots and reserves in Perth and East Perth, and to insert new clauses relating to precinct statements of intent for Royal Street West, Plain Street, PTA Transport Depot, and PTA Transport Corridor.

Requires landowners/occupiers to remove inflammable matter from their land by October 31, 2020, and maintain it until April 30, 2021.
Appoints Konrad Seidl as Chief Bush Fire Control Officer and Vivian Browne as Deputy Chief Bush Fire Control Officer for the City of Perth, along with other Bush Fire Control Officers.
Approves City of Perth local planning scheme amendment related to plot ratio and land use in Claisebrook Inlet and East Perth.
Exempts City of Perth from insuring under the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981, except for industrial diseases under section 151(a)(iii).
