Pursuant to section 59(2)(a) of the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990, the Minister for Environment; Heritage prohibits, except with prior written approval of the Heritage Council of Western Australia, the demolition, damage or alteration of the Broome Historical Museum (HCWA Place No. P303) or any activity that may detrimentally affect the cultural heritage characteristics of the place.
