All owners and/or occupiers of land within the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder district are required before October 1st each year, or within 14 days of becoming owner/occupier, to clear firebreaks or take measures in accordance with this notice and maintain them up to and including April 30th of the following year. Land 5,000m2 or less requires general fire hazard reduction. Land 5,001m2 or greater requires a trafficable firebreak three (3) metres wide immediately inside all external boundaries.
