The Council of the Shire of Upper Gascoyne resolved on 22nd June 2022 to make the Activities in Thoroughfares Local Law 2021. This local law regulates activities in thoroughfares within the district. It requires permits for various activities such as digging trenches, causing obstructions, and lighting fires. The local law comes into operation 14 days after its commencement in the Government Gazette.
