Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by regulation 10a (b) of the navigable waters regulations 1958, i hereby close all of the following waters to swimming between the hours of 7:30pm and 9:00pm on monday 1st january 2018—prisoner point, canning river. area of closure: all the waters within a 250 metre radius of the firing point located at approximately 32°01.635′s, 115°52.891′e on the canning river. this area is set aside for safety measures during the set up and display of pyrotechnics.
