Order regarding the change in the number of councillors for the Shire of Kent. On and from the next election day, the number of councillor offices will decrease from 8 to 6. Part 4 of the Act applies to preparing for and conducting the next election as if the decrease in the number of offices of councillor takes effect on commencement day. The next election is to be for 3 offices of councillor for terms ending in 2027. There is to be no election to fill the office of councillor that became vacant in February 2023.
