Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Regulation 10A (b) of the Navigable Waters Regulations 1958, I hereby close the following area of water to swimming between the hours of 5:00 PM and 6:45 PM on Tuesday 16 October 2018 and between the hours of 5:00 PM and 6:45 PM on Sunday 28 October 2018— Mandurah Estuary: All the waters of Mandurah Estuary upstream of a line drawn between two points located at 32° 31.807′ S, 115° 42.770′ E (Henry Sutton Grove approximately 40 metres east of Carter Street) and 32° 31.697′ S, 115° 42.901′ E (on the Peninsula Foreshore, approximately 210 metres northwest of Stingray Point) to Mandurah Bridge including all the waters of Mandjar Bay. Providing however this does not apply to bonafide participants taking part in the approved “AP & ES Games Opening Ceremony” and associated training.
