Notice Text
Pursuant to Section 33(1) of the Bush Fires Act 1954, landowners in the City of Mandurah must carry out fire prevention work by 17 November 2025, or within 14 days of becoming the owner/occupier, and maintain it until 31 May 2026. Failure to comply may result in an infringement notice or prosecution. The City may carry out the work at the owner's expense. Alternative fire prevention methods can be applied for by 1 November 2025.
