Notice Text
Pursuant to Section 33(1) of the Bush Fires Act 1954, landowners in the City of Mandurah are required to carry out fire prevention work on their land. This work must be completed by 17 November 2026 or within 14 days of becoming the owner/occupier, and maintained until 31 May 2027. Failure to comply may result in infringement notices, prosecution, or the City carrying out the work at the owner's cost. Alternate solutions can be proposed in writing by 1 November 2026.
