The Minister for Planning has granted approval for public notification of the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority’s (MRA) draft Subiaco Redevelopment Scheme 2 (draft scheme 2) for the Subiaco Redevelopment Area. Draft scheme 2 will transfer planning authority from the Western Australian Planning Commission and the City of Subiaco to the MRA for the MRA’s new Subiaco East Project Area and provide an updated statutory planning framework for the MRA’s existing Subi Centro Project Area.
