The Minister for Planning has approved the declaration of Planning Control Areas 168-172 along Anketell and Thomas Roads, between Mandogalup and Tonkin Highway. Planning Control Area 157 is modified to exclude the area east of Clementi Road, Mandogalup. Planning Control Area 161 is revoked. The Planning Control Areas protect land for the proposed Anketell/Thomas Road primary regional road corridor. Development requires WAPC approval. Penalty for non-compliance is $200,000.
