At the City of Nedlands Special Council Meeting of 27 August 2025, pursuant to section 344C(2) of the Health (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1911, Council adopted City of Nedlands Health Local Law fees contained within the City of Nedlands Schedule of Fees and Charges 2025-2026. The City of Nedlands gives notice of its intention to implement the following City of Nedlands Health Local Law fees in the City of Nedlands Schedule of Fees and Charges 2025-2026 from 3 November 2025.

Requires land owners and occupiers in specified local government areas to complete fire break work by November 30, 2026, or within 14 days of occupancy.
Adopts Health Local Law fees for the City of Nedlands for 2026-2027, to be implemented from September 14, 2026.
Exempts City of Nedlands from insurance obligations under the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981, except for industrial diseases.
Appoints Chaminda Mendis as an authorised officer for the City of Nedlands under the Local Government Act 1995 and the City of Nedlands Waste Local Law 2016, and cancels the appointment of Glen Carroll.
