Notice Text
All owners and occupiers of land within the City of Nedlands are required to prevent bush fires by clearing inflammable matter. Residential land must maintain grass at a height no greater than 5cm. Other land requires a three-metre firebreak. Failure to comply results in a penalty of $5,000. Burning garden refuse is prohibited with a maximum penalty of $3,000.
