These regulations are the animal welfare (general) amendment regulations 2021. These regulations come into operation as follows — (a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day. These regulations amend the animal welfare (general) regulations 2003. In regulation 7(2) in the table after the last row insert: 10. The containing an cattle must be used in accordance with the eshepherd animal virtual fencing system manufactured by agersens pty ltd (acn 169 900 887) manufacturer’s instructions for use of the device.
