These regulations amend the Mining Regulations 1981. The regulations come into operation as follows: regulations 1 and 2 on the day of gazettal; the rest of the regulations on 16 December 2019. Amendments are made to regulations 2, 16B, 23A, 23F, 29, 36A, 42A, 43, 45, 70A, 75, 83, 84, and 84C.
