Notice Text
As a measure for preventing the outbreak of a bush fire, all owners and occupiers of land within the City’s district are required to comply with the requirements of this notice. Land zoned ‘Rural’ or ‘Special Rural’ must clear flammable matter or create firebreaks by November 1st. All other land must be clear of flammable matter at all times. Penalty for non-compliance is $5,000.
