Declares June 7, 2023 as the relevant day for the 2023/24 levy year under the Fire and Emergency Services Act 1998.

I, stephen noel dawson, the minister administering the fire and emergency services act 1998 (the act), hereby declare under section 36g(2)(a) of the act that the relevant day for the 2023/24 levy year shall be 7 june 2023. This determination has been made after consultation with persons who i believe effectively represent the interests of local governments.
