These regulations are the trans-tasman mutual recognition (western australia) (temporary exemption) regulations 2021. Regulations 1 and 2 commence on the day of gazettal, and the rest on 1 july 2022. Parts 2 and 3 of the environmental protection (prohibited plastics and balloons) regulations 2018 are exempt from the operation of the commonwealth act. These regulations are repealed on 1 july 2023.
