Richard Sellers, Commissioner of Main Roads, authorises the use of a pilot vehicle for facilitating the movement of an oversize agricultural vehicle, subject to specified conditions. This authorisation, the Heavy Vehicle Agricultural Pilot Authorisation 2017, takes effect upon publication. It applies to those without a Heavy Vehicle Pilot Licence, driving a pilot vehicle for oversize agricultural vehicles. Conditions include restrictions on road types and distances.
