Notice Text
Pursuant to Section 33(1) of the Bush Fires Act 1954, landowners in the City of Mandurah must carry out fire prevention work by 17 November 2024 and maintain it until 31 May 2025. This includes removing flammable material or providing trafficable mineral earth firebreaks. Failure to comply may result in an infringement notice or prosecution. Burning garden refuse is restricted to certain properties with a permit.
