Pursuant to Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, landowners in the City of Mandurah must carry out fire prevention work by 17 November 2022, maintained until 31 May 2023. Failure to comply may result in an infringement notice or prosecution. Landowners may apply for alternative fire prevention methods by 1 November 2022. Details provided for occupied/unoccupied land less than/over 4000m2, asset protection zones, fire management plans, burning restrictions, and solid fuel fires.
