Amends the pearling (general) regulations 1991 regarding permit fees and waivers.

These regulations amend the pearling (general) regulations 1991. Regulation 6(1) is amended to delete “permit, unless payment of the fee is waived by the ceo.” and insert: permit. Regulation 9b is inserted after regulation 9a regarding refund, reduction or waiver of fees.

10 Oct 2025 · Restricts pearling and hatchery activities in specified holding sites to the designated operator.
