These regulations amend the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Regulations 2014. For the purposes of section 18 of the Act, the specified day in relation to regulations 8 and 9 is 27 September 2022. The amendments to these regulations made by the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Amendment Regulations (No. 4) 2022 regulations 6, 7 and 10 do not apply in relation to a renewal of a vehicle licence, or the application for the renewal, if the application is made before 27 September 2022.
