Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by regulation 48a of the navigable waters regulations 1958, i hereby cancel notice number ma406 as published in the government gazette on 26 november 2013 and set aside the following area of water for the purpose of water skiing— lake queerearrup: all waters of lake queerearrup with the exception of the area gazetted as closed to motorised vessels and areas within 50 metres of the water’s edge. Providing however that all water skiing activities are prohibited in waters less than 1.5 metres in depth. Mariners are responsible to ensure minimum depths prior to undertaking any water ski activities. The direction of all water skiing activities shall be in an anti-clockwise direction and water skiing is only permitted within the daylight hours of sunrise to sunset.
